"Annalisa, 14 years old, who cried if love ended in a movie, I always remember her every time I pass by here, in Forcella I see every night a little angel": thus begins the song dedicated to Annalisa Durante by Nino D'Angelo. But his is just one of the pieces that will be presented during "DiVentiamo Musica", one of the initiatives scheduled for the celebration of the Twentieth Anniversary of Annalisa Durante, killed on March 27, 2004, at the age of 14 in an armed clash between Camorra clans. Responding to the call of the association named after the girl, hundreds of musicians from all over the world, who have sent songs dedicated to Annalisa that will be published on the website www.annalisadurante.it, while a live Concert in the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore will be broadcast, starting at 10 am, featuring the "Annalisa Durante String Quartet - The Strings of Naples" and the solo tuba Maestro Gianmario Strappati, ambassador of Missioni Don Bosco for music in the world. To the pieces sent from Colombia, Argentina, and France are added the numerous pieces received from all over Italy, including those of the National Association of Italian Artistic Luthiery of Cremona, the Youngsters of the Martini Conservatory of Bologna, the Falcone-Borsellino Youth Orchestra of La Città Invisibile of Catania and great Neapolitan artists like Carlo Faiello and Francesca Marini. D'Angelo dedicated verses to Annalisa sung by his home piano and Carlo Faiello re-proposed the song he wrote for Annalisa, awarded at the IV Edition of the National Award 2023 and sung by Marianita Carfora. Hundreds of students from music high schools and comprehensive institutes have engaged in musical interpretations and choreographies: the Margherita di Savoia music high school of Naples, the Alfano I high school of Salerno, the F. Palizzi artistic, choreutic music high school of Naples, the Melissa Bassi music high school of Naples, the I.C. D'Angiò of Trecase, to which were added the students of "Musica Libera Tutti" of the AQuaS association - Scampia Neighborhood Animation and the Aritmistica Orkestr by Michele Montefusco and Giuseppe Saggiomo. For Annalisa's father, Giannino Durante, it is a great satisfaction: "I did not expect all this. Many will come to Forcella on March 27 to honor the memory of my daughter. They will place in our library not a flower but a book to bring to the young people of Naples the culture that saves souls, along with many musical pieces that can foster a change. I believe in it". The association that accompanies the commitment of Giannino Durante, chaired by Giuseppa Perna, organized the Twentieth Anniversary in collaboration with the Polis Foundation of the Campania Region, the Municipality of Naples, the Regional School Office of Campania, the Archdiocese of Naples, and Radio Siani - The Radio of Legality. The second part of the morning will be broadcast live on the social channels of Radio Siani and on the Facebook page of the Annalisa Durante association starting from 11 am.
