House Arrest Violation Leads to Arrest

He was under house arrest and authorized to leave his home from Monday to Saturday to go to work at a local farm, from 07:30 to 14:00. However, yesterday morning, the carabinieri of the San Prisco station, during a check aimed at verifying compliance with the measure he was subjected to, caught him on the street without any justified reason, while he was returning to his home in the nearby town of Curti. The 30-year-old of Albanian origin, arrested last December for being considered responsible, along with others, for committing crimes related to weapons and drugs, had escaped from house arrest and was freely roaming the city center. The military, following immediate verifications also conducted at the farm where the man was supposed to go for work, discovered that he had never gone to work and that, since last January, he had been freely moving around the area violating the house arrest he was subjected to. Taken to the barracks, he was arrested and placed back under house arrest, at the disposal of the competent judicial authority. He will have to answer for escape.
