Illegal Flower Sales Seized on Women's Day in Naples

On the occasion of "Women's Day", over a thousand bunches of mimosa, sold irregularly, were seized by the Naples Finance Police. Twelve illegal sellers were reported to the Municipality, the authority responsible for issuing permits for street trading. In particular, the activity carried out by the Finance Police led to the administrative seizure of 1,048 packages of mimosa and 195 packages of synthetic floral arrangements. Just in the past few days, - it is emphasized in a note, the president of the Naples and Province Confcommercio had reported to the Prefecture the recurring presence of numerous illegal flower merchants in the squares and streets most frequented by the city, in disregard of safety norms and fair market competition.
