They were supposed to build an agricultural shed, instead they created an illegal quarry. The three landowners and the owner of the company that had carried out a dig about 5 meters deep from which more or less 10,000 cubic meters of stone material had been extracted, were reported in Pontelandolfo. This all emerged thanks to a joint inspection by forest rangers and operators of the Civil Engineering of Benevento on an area of about 3 thousand square meters, which was seized.
In Baselice instead, the forest rangers of San Bartolomeo in Galdo found that a company processing inert materials was discharging, obviously without authorization, waters with residues into a stream that flows into the Fortore river. Having ascertained the absence of discharge authorization, it was seized; the sole director of the company was reported for the crime of discharging non-hazardous industrial wastewater. Both seizures were validated by the Public Prosecutor's Office.
