Illegal Waste Management Operation Uncovered in Villa di Briano

It was full of special waste, an uncovered area of 700 square meters, belonging to the residence of a 51-year-old man. Thus, in Villa di Briano, the carabinieri of the Frignano station reported the 51-year-old man in a state of freedom for unauthorized waste management activities. The military discovered and seized an illegal landfill where 20 cubic meters of material classified as hazardous and non-hazardous special waste were stored. On this area, which cannot be classified as a 'temporary storage', the military found housing sheaths, copper material, car tires, containers of bituminous liquid waterproofing membrane, ferrous materials, and other various materials. The entire area was seized and placed in judicial custody to the 51-year-old man, to whom the carabinieri reminded the obligations arising from the custody and the criminal responsibilities in case of transgression.
