Inauguration of the 'European City' Urban Park in Cava de' Tirreni

Next Saturday, March 30th, at 11 a.m., the mayor of Cava de' Tirreni, Vincenzo Servalli, together with the president of the Region, Vincenzo De Luca, will inaugurate the urban park 'The European City', the urban redevelopment project realized on the railway embankment, in continuity with the opening in 2017 of the connecting ramps from the former state road 18 to the road axis of Viale Benedetto Gravagnuolo and Corso Principe Amedeo, with the opening of the underpass in 2019 and the underground parking of about 200 spaces inaugurated on October 9, 2021, to which it is connected with elevators and access ramps. The project, whose executive project was carried out by the Pica Ciamarra Associati studio, was funded for an amount of about 3 million euros by the Po Fesr 2007/2013 - Obj. Op. 6.1 - Program More Europe and co-financed by the PO FESR Campania 2014 - 2020 Axis X - Sustainable Urban Development - Integrated Sustainable City Program P.I.C.S. Action 9.6.6 for an additional 983 thousand euros.
