Inauguration of the Miriam Castelluzzo Skating Rink

Mayor Clemente Mastella and the president of the Italian National Olympic Committee Giovanni Malagò will inaugurate on Thursday, March 7th at 3 p.m. in Via Mustilli the Skating Rink that will be named in memory of the Samnite skating champion Miriam Castelluzzo. During the ceremony, the participation of the athletes from Asd Jolly Skate-Artistic Skating, a sports association that will manage the sports facility, is expected. 'With the funds from the Integrated Sustainable City Program, we have redeveloped - explain Mayor Mastella and the deputy mayor with responsibility for the Implementation of the Pics, Francesco De Pierro - a facility that had been abandoned for many years and aims to become a hub for roller sports of national importance: with the federal homologation, which is in the process of being acquired, this facility will be able to host official competitions and ensure an important return also in terms of sports tourism to the city. We give back to the city, to the young people, to the athletes a place of notable social and architectural value: the president of the Italian National Olympic Committee Malagò will cut the ribbon of a sports center of excellence.'
