Innocent Victims of Crime: Families Demand Remembrance

Just like Giovanbattista Cutolo, the young musician murdered in the central Piazza Municipio in Naples over a poorly parked scooter, the family of Francesco Pio Maimone, who died on March 20, 2023 without reason, on the Naples waterfront, is asking for a plaque to remember him as an innocent victim of crime. The request was made by lawyer Sergio Pisani, who represents the parents and siblings of the aspiring pizza maker killed 'by mistake' at the height of a fight he was completely unrelated to, which broke out among local criminal groups over a stepped-on pair of designer shoes. Pisani sent the request via certified email directly to the mayor of the city, Gaetano Manfredi.
