Inspection Reveals Illegal Employment at Sorrento Mechanical Workshop

The Carabinieri of the Sorrento station, together with those of the labor inspectorate unit of Naples, checked a premises used as a mechanical workshop on Via degli Aranci. From the inspection, which was conducted as part of targeted controls to combat undeclared work and violations of the regulations governing safety in the workplace, it emerged that of the 4 workers employed, 1 was off the books. The owner of the mechanical workshop has been reported, with two fines imposed amounting to over 11,000 euros.
