International Women's Day: Over 300 Workers Meet with Educational Leader in Pomigliano D'arco

Today, on the occasion of International Women's Day, over 300 female and male workers of the Stellantis Giambattista Vico plant in Pomigliano D'arco met with Eugenia Carfora, principal of the higher education and hotel institute Francesco Morano of Caivano, who has always been committed to defending people, especially the youth in the challenging area she operates in. The meeting was a moment of sharing the strength, courage, and tenacity of women, who with their daily actions as mothers, wives, workers, and educators contribute to highlighting the rebirth of the female image, challenging stereotypes and gender inequalities. The collaboration between the Giambattista Vico plant in Pomigliano and the F. Morano higher institute in Caivano falls within the scope of the 'Adopt a School' project promoted by Altagamma. Through the Fiat executive group, a corporate association of Stellantis committed to supporting education, lessons and testimonials from Stellantis managers, visits to the Pomigliano plant, and participation in a dedicated project work will be promoted. 'We strongly wanted this event,' commented Pascale Chretien, plant manager of Pomigliano, and Massimo Salvai, head of human resources of the plant, 'as part of the daily commitment we try to promote with the territory. Our goal is to continue on this path and organize other similar initiatives in the coming months. It is a desire not only of the company management,' they added, 'but also of the workers of the plant who on several occasions have made concrete proposals for their involvement in this type of initiatives.'
