Following a targeted investigation coordinated by the Public Prosecutor's Office of Benevento, today, the military of the Airola carabinieri station, executed a restraining order which included the prohibition of approaching the victim and the places frequented by her, as well as a ban on residing in the province of Benevento. This order was issued by the Judge for preliminary investigations of the Benevento Court, at the request of the Prosecutor's Office, against a man from Sannio, seriously suspected of domestic abuse and aggravated assault against his wife.
The investigations were initiated following the transmission of service notes concerning reports from the man and a doctor from the emergency room where the victim had gone, as well as the subsequent complaint filed by the woman in which she reported the behaviors from April 2023 by her husband, consisting of habitual harassment, insults, threats, and physical assaults mainly motivated by the man's morbid jealousy. The narration of the criminal acts suffered was confirmed by the investigative activity carried out.
During the execution of the measure, the man did not consent to the application of the electronic bracelet, for which reason he was also simultaneously subjected to the precautionary measure of the prohibition of residence in the province of Benevento.
