The financiers of the Economic and Financial Police Unit of Caserta, delegated by the Regional Prosecutor's Office of the Court of Auditors for Campania, have carried out the notification of an 'invitation to deduct' against 18 former employees of the Employment Center of Teano.
The measures were issued by the accounting prosecutor following the investigations conducted by the Guardia di Finanza of Caserta, which led to the application of personal and real precautionary measures against the recipients of the magisterial measures, for aggravated fraud and false attestations.
The investigations, initiated after a report received from the president of the National Anti-Corruption Authority, through checks, stalking, telephone interceptions, video recordings, documentary acquisitions and summary information, led to uncover the modus operandi of the suspects who falsely attested their presence at the workplace.
The verification - carried out over a span of 5 months - found episodes of absenteeism for 1,000 hours by the employees at the headquarters of the Employment Center of Teano. The Accounting Prosecutor's Office, issued 'invitations to deduct' contesting a total damage of €. 177,336.00 resulting both from the unjust profit for the false attestations of their presence at the workplace, and for the damage caused to the image of the Entity.
