Investigation Underway for Acid Attack on Avellino Province President's Car

Investigations are underway to shed light on the damage to the car of the President of the Province of Avellino, Rino Buonopane. Unknown individuals during the past night sprinkled acid on the car, which was parked near Buonopane's residence in Montella, in the province of Avellino. It was Buonopane himself who reported the incident to the local Carabinieri Company. The investigators are proceeding with the acquisition of images recorded by surveillance cameras installed in the area.
