Investigations are underway by the State Police about the damage that occurred this morning in Salerno in front of the headquarters of the television broadcaster Telecolore, on Palestro street.
The journalists of Telecolore are reconstructing what happened, with a post published on social media.
«A man forcefully asked to enter to talk about the situation of Salernitana», reads on the official profile of the broadcaster. «Upon the refusal of colleagues, subsequently this person took a stone, destroyed the intercom, tore off one of the surveillance cameras, damaged and turned other cameras, and overturned a wastebasket located in front of the entrance».
The agents of the Flying Squad of the State Police and the men of the Scientific are working to identify the person responsible who, after the facts, disappeared. «No one will gag us. We will continue to tell the facts and freely express our opinions», said Franco Esposito, director of Telecolore.
The solidarity of the Order of Journalists of Campania arrives, which «is alongside colleagues from Telecolore Salerno after the serious damage to the editorial structures. We hope for a quick conclusion of the investigation».
