ITA Airways Honors Football Legends with New Aircraft Names

Welcome aboard the Ciro Ferrara airplane. Yes, that's right. It's dedicated to the former Napoli captain, two-time Italian champion and UEFA Cup winner with the team of Diego Armando Maradona, the new Airbus 320 of ITA Airways. Three other sports champions celebrated on new planes: Stefano Baldini, Elisa Di Francisca, and Gigi Buffon, Ciro's teammate and current head of delegation for the National team. Ferrara, after ending his coaching career on the Sampdoria bench, has become a television pundit (for several years he has been part of the Dazn team) and directs the Cannavaro-Ferrara Foundation with Fabio Cannavaro in Naples, which is involved in social projects.
