Laboratory Technician Suspended for Sexual Assault on a Minor Student

The laboratory technician at a school in the province of Benevento has been suspended for 12 months from activity following investigations by the Benevento Prosecutor's Office, which investigated him on charges of aggravated sexual violence against a minor student. The investigations were initiated following a report by the school principal informed by two teachers of the school about the conduct maintained by the laboratory technician against the girl during school hours. The student confirmed what had already been told to the teachers, reconstructing the groping she suffered last January by the man during a chemistry experiment. The young girl's statements were confirmed by an eyewitness classmate of the minor as well as by the mother who collected the girl's confidences alerting a teacher. The suspect, when questioned, rejected all accusations.
