State police, the Carabinieri and the Guardia di Finanza continue their high-impact services. This morning, 200 officers from different law enforcement agencies carried out numerous searches in the Mercato neighborhood and in the Case Nuove area.
The operation has allowed the identification of several individuals, some of whom have been reported and two subjected to house arrest as they were recipients of a precautionary measure.
During the service, the operators seized a 9 caliber pistol with worn-out serial number and its ammunition, numerous cartridges of various calibers, a bulletproof vest, various quantities of drugs such as hashish, cocaine and marijuana, some vehicles and circulation cards; also, some people were fined for possession of drugs for personal use and others for violation of the Highway Code.
Administrative police checks are underway at commercial activities and public establishments.
