Late Night Road Accident Involving Two Teenagers Leads to Investigation

During the night, the Local Police Operational Accident Unit intervened to record a road accident that occurred at the intersection between F. Persico and G. Carafa Street (Vicaria district) which involved two teenagers, a boy and a girl who were hospitalized in critical condition at the Sea Hospital and the C.T.O. respectively. The two teenagers, who were riding a scooter, were involved in an accident with another vehicle that fled the scene without offering assistance. The Local Police officers are conducting investigations by examining footage from the area's surveillance systems to reconstruct the serious road accident and identify the fugitive. The investigations are particularly difficult due to the absence of witnesses and the impossibility, due to the clinical conditions, to obtain information from the injured teenagers.
