The project of the Little Choir of Caivano, promoted by the Ministry of Culture in collaboration with Antoniano-Opere Francescane, which was presented last December in Rome, is getting underway.
Auditions are starting that will take place in Caivano to become part of the new musical reality. Two dates are scheduled:
May 11, 2024 (from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm) in the Falcone and Borsellino Municipal Park;
May 12, 2024 (from 10 am to 1 pm and from 2 pm to 6 pm) in the "Il Cuore Verde" Park.
Participation is free, and it is not necessary to have attended music or singing courses.
Registration for the casting, open to all children from 4 to 12 years old who live in Caivano or the surrounding areas, can be done through the Zecchino d'Oro website. Alternatively, it is possible to show up in person at the indicated places and dates.
To prepare for the performance, each child can choose their favorite song from the official casting playlist, available on the YouTube channel of the Piccolo Coro dell'Antoniano, which contains both Zecchino d'Oro classics and hits from the latest editions, or bring a song from the Italian musical repertoire of their choice. For the audition, the backing track of the chosen song must then be presented on a USB drive during the casting.
The selected girls and boys will be contacted by telephone or email. Weekly attendance is required for participation in the Little Choir of Caivano.
