Law Enforcement Operations in San Bartolomeo in Galdo: A Weekend of Checks and Seizures

Last weekend, the Carabinieri of the San Bartolomeo in Galdo company carried out a series of checks in the Fortore centers to prevent predatory crimes, counteract drug trafficking and consumption, and ensure the safety of road users, employing 28 patrols, identifying 217 people, and checking 198 vehicles and 12 public establishments. During the activities carried out with the support of the Carabinieri canine unit from Sarno, the soldiers from Baselice administratively reported a local man to the Prefecture for illegal possession of drugs intended for personal use, having found him in possession of more than 1.5 grams of hashish, which were seized following a thorough search, conducted with the support of the infallible nose of the dog 'Axel'. During the road checks, the Carabinieri issued 6 administrative fines for violations of the Highway Code totaling 1,370 euros, administratively seizing a vehicle that was circulating without the mandatory RCA insurance, withdrawing an expired driving license, detecting violations for driving a vehicle not subjected to periodic inspection, driving without carrying the required documentation, failure to report the loss of a license plate, and deducting 5 points from driving licenses.
