Everything is done between Napoli and Aston Villa for the arrival of Leander Dendoncker, the Belgian midfielder born in 1995 who on Wednesday afternoon underwent the usual medical examinations at Villa Stuart in Rome before being able to join the working group of Walter Mazzarri and make himself available to the Tuscan coach.
The loan contract has officially been deposited in the Football League: from today the midfielder will be available for the blue colors until June.
Dendoncker grew up in the youth team of Anderlecht, with which he went through all the ranks to the first team. He has won the Belgian championship twice and the Super Cup of Belgium three times, also becoming the club's captain. In 2018 he moved to Wolverhampton where he stayed for four seasons before moving to Aston Villa in 2022. In the Premier League he has made more than 150 appearances: he will arrive in Napoli on loan until the end of the season with the possibility of redemption by the club of De Laurentiis.
