LILT's Cancer Prevention Week at Manzoni High School in Caserta

Tomorrow, at 9:15 AM, the Italian League for the Fight Against Cancer (LILT) will make a stop at the "Manzoni" high school in Caserta. The day will focus on "Places of Well-being, Places of Discomfort" and will involve the students of the first two years. The morning will be opened by the greetings of the school principal Adele Vairo and Dr. Angela Maffeo. Then, Pasquale Borriello, a psychologist and psychotherapist, will speak about the relationship between eating disorders and cancer. Fabio Perone, a kinesiologist, will talk about the importance of physical activity in the prevention of addictions and eating disorders. Finally, Laura Piombino, a medical specialist in nutritional sciences, will illustrate the importance of cancer prevention through vaccination, also focusing on healthy foods and those that, instead, can create harmful dependencies. The activities are coordinated by the teacher Rita Lombardi. The meeting is scheduled as part of LILT's "National Cancer Prevention Week," taking place until March 24th across Italy.
