Mafia-Linked Property Seizure in Naples

By delegation of the district attorney of Naples, the anti-mafia investigative directorate executed a preventive seizure decree, issued by the judge for preliminary investigations of the Naples Court, of an entire building located in S. Gennaro Vesuviano. In particular, from the investigative activities, it emerged that a person, under investigation for aggravated receiving stolen goods through mafia method for having committed the act to favor the interests of the Fabbrocino clan, had received the sums paid by others for the rent of the property which aimed at fictitious registration and money laundering. The measure executed is a precautionary measure ordered in the context of preliminary investigations, against which means of appeal are allowed, and the recipient of the same is a person under investigation and, therefore, presumed innocent until a final sentence.
