Mafia References on Social Media Lead to Jail for Murder Suspect's Cousin

She had posted a video on social media in which there was an explicit reference to the mafia and the respect of mafia values, despite being charged (for weapons and aiding the killer) during the trial of the alleged murderer of Francesco Pio Maimone (killed by mistake on March 20th in the Mergellina chalet area). Today for Giuseppina Valda (Giusy), cousin of Francesco Pio Valda, a precautionary custody order in prison has been issued, replacing house arrest, executed by the Mobile Squad and the San Giovanni Police Station in Naples. Giusy Valda was under house arrest on the charge of complicity in the possession of the firearm used on the occasion of the Maimone murder, aggravated by the mafia method. Last Tuesday, the young woman had violated the prescription of the prohibition of communication with people other than those living with her by posting the video on social media, in which she performed repeating the words of a rapper who, in the background, praised the mafia.
