Major Law Enforcement Operation in Fuorigrotta and Bagnoli

In the morning, about 70 officers from various law enforcement agencies carried out numerous searches in the Phlegraean area of Fuorigrotta and Bagnoli, continuing the "high impact" services of the State Police, the Carabinieri, and the Guardia di Finanza. The operation allowed for the identification of several individuals, one of whom was reported for smuggling foreign manufactured tobacco. During the service, the operators seized a blank-firing revolver without a red cap and about 2 kg of foreign manufactured tobaccos lacking the State Monopoly brand. The joint activity involved personnel from the Mobile Squad of Naples, the Bagnoli and San Paolo Police Stations, the Crime Prevention Department of Campania, the UOPI, the K9 Units, and the Carabinieri of the Investigative Unit; additionally, the Guardia di Finanza with the ATPI component of the Ready Use Group of Naples, the K9 units, the NOM of Naples, and the Companies of Capodichino and Pozzuoli participated. During the activity in question, personnel from the Fire Brigade were also present for the removal of fixed obstacles.
