Man Arrested for Drug Possession in Casal di Principe

He was stopped while trying to dispose of a small metal box containing cocaine. It happened yesterday morning in Casal di Principe where the operational section of the local company arrested a 47-year-old local man for possession of drugs for the purpose of drug dealing. The military knocked on the 47-year-old's door to carry out a search. The man, upon seeing the police, headed to the bathroom where he was stopped while trying to dispose of a small metal box by flushing it in the toilet, which was later found to contain 24 doses of cocaine weighing a total of 5.075 grams. Inside the bathroom, on the window sill, the police found and seized 29.335 grams of similar drugs, arranged in two cellophane bags hidden inside a canvas case, in addition to a plastic container containing four doses of cocaine weighing about one gram. During the search, which was then extended to the entire apartment, the police also found and seized 23 cellophane bags for packaging the drug, a precision scale and the sum of € 3,400.00, in cash, found in a blender placed on a kitchen cabinet on the ground floor, enclosed in a transparent plastic bag. A blank firing New Police 9 Pak caliber pistol without the red cap at the muzzle, an exploded cartridge and 2 blank cartridges in the tank, found in the bedside table next to the bed, were also seized. The arrested man is locked up in the Santa Maria Capua Vetere prison.
