He refuses to accept the end of the relationship and enters his ex's house using a copy of the keys he had stolen from her. The Carabinieri of the Gragnano station have executed a precautionary custody order that imposes house arrest issued by the Gip of the Court of Torre Annunziata, upon request of the Prosecutor's Office, against a 51-year-old from Casola di Napoli accused of stalking, damage, theft, and violation of domicile against his former partner.
The investigations, carried out by the Carabinieri Station of Gragnano and coordinated by the Prosecutor's Office of Torre Annunziata, have allowed to reconstruct that from December 2023 and until the end of February, for trivial reasons of jealousy, the 51-year-old would have harassed his ex-partner, beating her, insulting her with derogatory and humiliating epithets, and sending her continuous messages on her cell phone.
«The suspect would have threatened to kill the victim, also using scissors pointed at her abdomen, determining a situation such that it brought out an alarming context due to morbid jealousy. The woman was forced to modify her own habits of life, to change her own schedules and usual routes and to leave home as little as possible for fear of meeting him», writes in a note the prosecutor Nunzio Fragliasso.
The suspect would not have accepted the idea that the woman, despite having ended the relationship, could start others, to the point that one evening, using the keys to the woman's home, he would have introduced himself into the woman's home to check on her. Now the 51-year-old is under house arrest.
