Massive Law Enforcement Operation in Naples

Yesterday, officers from the Vicaria-Mercato Police Station, the Carabinieri military police, the Financial Police operators, with the support of personnel from the ASL Napoli 1 Centro and with the collaboration of the Campania Crime Prevention Department, agents from the Railway Police Department, and personnel from the Metropolitan Police, carried out an extraordinary territorial control service at Garibaldi square, Mancini square, Poerio street, and Nolana gate. During the operation, 201 people were identified, of which 2 were administratively sanctioned for possession of drugs for personal use and one was administratively sanctioned for smuggling foreign manufactured tobacco, 43 vehicles were checked, and 5 commercial activities were inspected, raising 6 administrative sanctions for a total amount of 10,000 euros and also seizing 230 kg of foodstuffs lacking traceability.
