Mayor of Afragola Resets Municipal Government, Aiming for Renewed Commitment and Development

With the mayoral decree no. 58/2024, the Mayor of Afragola, Antonio Pannone, has formally reset the municipal government, reserving the appointment of the new executive members with a separate measure. "The decision to proceed to the reset," explains Mayor Antonio Pannone, "is not the result of a crisis but is physiologically part of a path of great responsibility and renewed commitment to the service of our community, shared primarily with the undersecretary Pina Castiello, who I am sure will continue to hold the position of deputy Mayor. With the recent discussions with the council groups of the majority coalition, the conditions for a political verification and a detailed reconnaissance of the government setups have been determined, in the perspective of a fruitful continuation of the administrative action, which is functional to the pursuit of the ambitious programmatic objectives embraced with trust by our fellow citizens," writes the mayor in a note. "I therefore trust in the full operation of the new government and in the rebalancing of capabilities and competencies, to fully express a coherent political-administrative model. Great challenges await us - starting with the adoption of the new municipal urban plan - he adds - and the realization of public works with RFI funds- which I hope can concretely favor the progress of our community and the sustainable development of our territory."
