“I express sincere solidarity with the Trotta bus driver who was brutally and unreasonably attacked while on duty. I will personally contact him to show him the support of the entire administration,” said the mayor of Benevento, Clemente Mastella. “The dynamics of the episode this worker fell victim to are shocking due to the disarming ease with which blind and gratuitous violence is unleashed. Attacking a line bus driver, whose physical and psychological integrity depends on the safety of numerous people, is an act of unprecedented gravity, of mad irresponsibility.
