During a checkpoint, the military stopped a car driven by a 48-year-old man with the boy on board. The 17-year-old, at the sight of the carabinieri, tried to get rid of the knuckle-duster, throwing it out of the window. The weapon was immediately recovered and seized.
For the motorist, who was without a license because he never obtained one, the expected administrative sanction was applied. The car was subjected to administrative detention.
