Last night, officers from the State Police of the San Giuseppe Vesuviano police station, along with colleagues from the Finance Police, executed several arrest warrants issued by the Penal Execution Office of the Attorney General's Office at the Court of Appeal in Naples.
The ones who ended up in handcuffs are 6 convicted criminals related to the Batti clan, operating in the territory of San Giuseppe Vesuviano: Salvatore Ambrosio, sentenced to 6 years, 8 months and 20 days in prison; Alan Cristian Batti, sentenced to 9 years and 6 months; Alfredo Batti, sentenced to 15 years; Angelo Auriemma, who will have to serve 7 years; Tommaso Gabriele Boccia, sentenced to 4 years and 6 months and finally, Giuseppina Batti sentenced to 6 years.
The 6 have been convicted on various counts for association aimed at the illicit traffic of drugs, weapons-related offenses, robbery and extortion. The sentences were made executable by the recent hearing of the Court of Cassation on February 20
