Municipal Police Crackdown in Naples: Seizures and Fines for Public Space Misuse and Unauthorized Commerce

The Municipal Police of Naples carried out interventions both in the Secondigliano area and in that of the Avvocata. Between Via Dante and Via Cassano, the Secondigliano operational unit issued 16 fines for illegal occupation of public land and 3 to commercial establishments lacking authorization, in addition to the seizure and destruction of about 100Kg of fruit and vegetables because they were exposed to the elements. They also issued 15 fines for various offenses such as: driving without a MOT, without a license, without the required insurance coverage with the related vehicle seizure. The Agents of the Avvocata operational unit, engaged in Via Toledo and Piazzetta Nilo, carried out 2 criminal seizures and 1 administrative seizure for the illegal sale of goods, part of which were counterfeit, such as backpacks, bags, belts, sunglasses with logos of well-known fashion houses. Everything was seized and made available to the competent judicial authority.
