On March 19, the day he would have turned 69 and celebrated his name day, Naples is preparing to honor the timeless talent of one of the greatest national and international artists, Pino Daniele, with an extraordinary event that celebrates his legacy and his contribution to Neapolitan and Italian culture.
The memorial "Je sto vicino a te 69", scheduled for Tuesday, March 19 at the Palapartenope theater, produced by Nonsoloeventi srl of Rino Manna patron of the Palapartenope, represents a combination of music, artists, and friends who will gather to remember and celebrate the musical genius of the singer-songwriter, through the reinterpretation of his songs and his music.
On stage, there will be great names that have made the history of the Neapolitan melody and the Mediterranean and who share with Pino Daniele, the love for music and for the city: in alphabetical order Joe Barbieri, Roberto Colella, Antonio Fabrizi, Carlo Faiello, Enzo Gragnaniello, Ivan Granatino, Mavi, Ciccio Merolla, Pietra Montecorvino, Nuova Compagnia di Canto Popolare, Franco Ricciardi, Dario Sansone, Monica Sarnelli, Lina Sastri, Ste, M'Barka Ben Taleb, Marzo Zurzolo and the 99 Posse.
"What warms my heart is that, once again, friends and collaborators of Pino, but above all the young people who have grown up with his music, have joined this evening," says Nello Daniele who this year in a double role as artistic director and musician will take the stage during the memorial to pay tribute to his brother Pino.
