Naples: Drug Bust Leads to Arrest and Seizure

Last night, officers from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, during their territorial control service, noticed a stream of people entering and exiting a building while passing through Giuseppe Marrazzo street. The police, becoming suspicious, entered the building and caught a person exchanging something for a banknote with another individual. The officers, realizing they were witnessing a crime, approached and stopped both, finding the suspect in possession of 11 cocaine wraps weighing about 3 grams, a heroin wrap weighing about 0.40 grams, and 265 euros; the buyer was found in possession of a cocaine wrap. For these reasons, a 33-year-old man from Naples was arrested for illegal possession and distribution of drugs; the buyer, however, was administratively fined for possession of drugs for personal use.
