Naples Drug Bust: Police Arrest Man for Illicit Substance Possession

Yesterday afternoon, officers from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, while patrolling the area, noticed a car stopped by the side of the road on Annamaria Ortese street as if the occupants were waiting for someone. The police, suspicious, staked out and saw an individual approach who, after retrieving something from a cavity in a wall, handed it over to the driver of the car in exchange for money. Therefore, the officers promptly intervened to stop the criminal process and detained the suspect, finding him in possession of 210 euros, in various denominations, while in the cavity of the wall they found 11 bars of hashish weighing about 40 grams; the car, however, managed to escape. For these reasons, the 19-year-old from Naples, with a specific police record, was arrested for illegal possession of narcotic substances.
