Naples Drug Bust: Police Arrest Man with Heroin and Cash

In the morning of yesterday, officers from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, while patrolling the area, noticed a person outside a building in via Annamaria Ortese who, after receiving a banknote, handed something to an individual who quickly walked away. The police promptly intervened to stop the criminal activity, reached and stopped the suspect after an attempt to flee inside the building, finding him in possession of 6 heroin wraps weighing about 1.5 grams and 310 euros. For these reasons, a 51-year-old man from Naples with a criminal record, including specific offenses, was arrested for illegal possession of drugs and for escaping house arrest, as he was already under this measure for the same crime.
