Naples Nightclub Temporarily Closed Following Series of Incidents

The Police Commissioner of Naples, upon the suggestion of the Bagnoli police station, has ordered a 15-day suspension for a nightclub in Agnano. Specifically, on the night of last February 11, a young man, following a fight that occurred inside the facility and continued outside, had to seek medical treatment at the San Paolo Hospital for a gunshot wound to the foot. Additionally, in the same venue, between March 2022 and February 2023, there were as many as twenty-five incidents of aggravated theft. Furthermore, in March 2023, following an inspection carried out by the Naples police department, it was found that the public entertainment had taken place without the required authorizations, with emergency exits blocked by chains and barriers, thus endangering the safety and security of the public. The measure is therefore aimed at averting a concrete danger to public order and the safety of citizens.
