Naples Police Arrest Man for Domestic Threats and Assault

Officers from the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, during their territorial control service, intervened last night at a residence in the Barra district in Naples following a report of a woman threatened by her husband. The police, upon arrival, were approached by the woman, who reported that, as on previous occasions, her husband had threatened her, this time with a large piece of marble, a hammer, and a knife, also damaging the entrance door of the residence from which he then fled. The police, not leaving the woman alone, went in search of the man and tracked him down, shortly after, on the street, still holding the large hammer, and, not without difficulty, they arrested him and also found him in possession of the knife. The suspect, a 62-year-old man from Naples, was arrested for stalking and resisting a public official.
