Naples Police Arrest Man with Drugs After Chase

Yesterday afternoon, officers from the Scampia Police Station, during the services specifically set up, while passing through Ernesto Rossi street, noticed an individual handing over an envelope to a man on a motorcycle. The two, realizing the presence of the officers, fled; the driver, after abandoning the vehicle, lost the envelope and managed to escape on foot; the second fugitive, however, was stopped a short distance away and found in possession of 3 cell phones and 1,475 euros, divided into various denominations. Furthermore, the officers immediately recovered the envelope, which the suspect had handed to the driver, inside which they found 70 wraps containing cocaine with a total weight of about 29 grams and 41 cylinders weighing about 19 grams of heroin. For these reasons, the suspect, a 29-year-old man from Naples with a criminal record, was arrested for possession of narcotics.
