Naples Police Arrest Man with Drugs and Ammunition in Scampia

Yesterday morning, officers from the Scampia Police Station, during their patrol, noticed a car with a man on board who, upon seeing them, attempted to evade the check but was caught and stopped while driving on Giovanni Antonio Campano street at the corner of Santa Maria a Cubito street. The officers found, well hidden inside the car, two packages of hashish weighing approximately 1 kg in total. Furthermore, having good reason to believe that there could be additional elements related to the facts under investigation, the officers extended their inspection to the suspect's home, where they found 16 bullets of 6.35 caliber and a homemade silencer for a firearm. Therefore, a 45-year-old man from Naples with a police record was arrested for illegal possession of drugs and reported for illegal possession of ammunition.
