Naples Police Conduct Nightlife Area Checks, Enforce Regulations

Yesterday, as part of the operations organized by the Naples Police Department in the nightlife areas, officers from the Vomero, Vasto Arenaccia, San Paolo police stations, the anti-crime division, and the finance police, with the support of local police personnel, carried out checks in the Vomero neighborhood, particularly in San Martino, Vanvitelli and Medaglie D'Oro squares, and Giordano, Scarlatti, and Falcone streets. During the operation, the officers identified 190 individuals, 25 of whom had police records, inspected 45 vehicles, and issued 31 traffic violations for lack of periodic inspection, parking in no-parking zones, and parking on a pedestrian crossing, with the subsequent removal of the vehicle. Furthermore, with the assistance of personnel from the Asl Na1, 3 commercial establishments were inspected and were given various prescriptions for violations in terms of health and safety at the workplace. Finally, fines totaling 5,000 euros were imposed for violations of HACCP regulations (related to food safety and hygiene conditions).
