Yesterday, state police personnel executed a precautionary custody order and placement in a community against two minors. This order was issued by the judge for preliminary investigations at the juvenile court in Naples, upon the request of the public prosecutor's office.
The two young people are indeed seriously suspected of the attempted robbery of a scooter and of aggravated injuries against a peer, incidents that occurred in the parking lot of the La Cartiera shopping center located in Pompeii in June 2023.
The investigative activity carried out by the officers of the Pompeii police station and coordinated by the prosecutor's office, through a meticulous analysis of the surveillance systems and a careful info-investigative activity, allowed the identification of the two young people.
The positive probative results were summarized in a special crime report, leading the prosecutor to request and obtain the restrictive measure.
The executed measure is a precautionary one, taken during preliminary investigations, against which appeals are allowed, and the recipients of the same are people under investigation and therefore presumed innocent until final judgment.
