Naples Station Drug Bust: Man Arrested with 10kg of Hashish

Yesterday morning, the officers of the Operational Department of Naples Central, together with a patrol of the Italian Army, deployed as part of the 'Safe Streets' operation, during routine checks at the Naples Garibaldi Station, noticed an individual running hastily to get past the exit turnstiles of the Circumvesuviana. The operators, suspicious, caught up with and checked him, finding him in possession of 94 bars of hashish weighing a total of 10 kg and 300 euros. For these reasons, a 34-year-old man from Palermo, with a police record, was arrested for illegal possession of narcotics.
