Napoli Bayard Station: Commencement of Safety Works and Area Recovery Projects

Today, the areas of the Napoli Bayard station were handed over for the commencement of safety works on the complex, following which the definitive functional recovery works of the area can be carried out. The intervention, the result of dialogue between all the involved parties after the area between Corso Garibaldi, via Enrico Cosenz, and via S. Maria delle Grazie a Loreto was handed over to the Municipality, follows the memorandum of understanding signed in December 2023 by the Municipality of Naples, the Public Prosecutor's Office of Naples, the superintendency, and FS urban systems, the leading company of the Urban Pole of the FS group. The agreement has allowed for the reorganization of the properties of the ancient Bayard station of Naples and the surrounding areas with maximum protection of the city's cultural heritage. The citizens, it is announced, will thus be able to benefit from new spaces.
