Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis Interrogated Over Financial Misconduct

The interrogation at the Prosecutor's Office in Rome of the president of Napoli, Aurelio De Laurentiis, lasted over an hour, as part of the investigation that accuses him of financial misconduct. The procedure is related to the alleged fictitious capital gains surrounding the purchase of the striker Victor Osimhen in 2020 from the French team Lille. For this affair, last January, the prosecutors of Piazzale Clodio have requested the indictment of the Napoli owner and other suspects. The owner was heard by the deputy prosecutor Giuseppe Cascini and the assistant prosecutor Lorenzo Del Giudice, who are in charge of the case. At the end of the interrogation, the president of the blue club left the judicial citadel without making any statements. Aurelio De Laurentiis asked and obtained to be heard by the Public Prosecutors of the Rome Prosecutor's Office as part of the ongoing investigations into the sale of the footballer Victor Osimhen. Present at the act were the defenders Fabio Fulgeri and Lorenzo Contrada who will make a defensive memorandum available to the magistrates in the coming days.
