The name of David Hancko is reportedly in the sights of Napoli for the upcoming summer. The 26-year-old Slovak defender, Hancko, is one of those profiles that is already appealing to half of Europe: in recent years, with the Feyenoord jersey, he has made a name for himself and his long contract with the Dutch club has inflated his market price.
The blues could take advantage of two parallel paths: the first is Francesco Calzona, who has been coaching him in the national team for a while, the other is Stanislav Lobotka, his national team mate with whom he shares both a locker room and the agent Branislav Jarusek. Paris Saint Germain and Liverpool had already made moves in the past months. "But as an agency, we are in contact not only with these two clubs, but also with others who are following David's situation," the agent explained.
In the meantime, his market value has grown: 35 million euros would be the starting bid needed to snatch him away from Feyenoord, with whom he has a contract until 2028. "Given the long duration, it will be difficult for me to leave," the player had said some time ago, who would prefer a future in the Premier League regardless. However, the club owned by De Laurentiis will not face any issues: the paths to reach Hancko, if necessary, are all viable.
