National 4-Hour Strike Announced by O.S CONF.A.I.L. Over Workforce and Safety Concerns

On April 26th, a national 4-hour strike from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM was proclaimed by O.S CONF.A.I.L. concerning the workforce and safety at work. The strike is a consequence of growing discontent related to collective contracts. The union has denounced increasingly decrepit trains and a lack of care for the work of operators. The block will affect the Circumvesuviana, the Cumana, the Circumflegrea, and the MetroCampania Nord Est Aversa. "During the strike hours, the execution of the runs is subject to the number of workers joining the strike," Eav wrote in the official announcement published on the website.
