From Monday 5 to Friday 10 February, the excellences of Neapolitan cuisine will be protagonists at the 74th Sanremo Festival. Neapolitan cuisine, in fact, will be present at the Italian Song Festival thanks to the association «Aperitivo Food & Drink» and the company «Sapori di Napoli», of the chef Gennaro Galeotafiore. Inside the enchanting spaces of the Villa Ormond, pizza makers, chefs, influencers and bloggers will be the protagonists of the international event dedicated to the Italian song.
«We are proud to bring our products and our culinary tradition to an important event like the Sanremo Festival, where we have already represented the cuisine of our region in the past - Gennaro Galeotafiore declared - Our goal is to promote Neapolitan cuisine around Italy as well as to welcome journalists, actors, directors and international stars with our products».
The event's partners will be the dairy products of Latticini Orchidea, the handmade pasta of Antica Maccheroneria, the flours of Molino Naldoni, the work clothes of Linework Group, the mixers IP Bake, the ovens and equipment of Sacar Forni, the peeled tomatoes of La Rosina, the truffles of Sassone Tartufi, the gluten-free products of Gluteno, the products distributed by Ristorfoods, Formazione Calabria and many other companies and agencies that support the project.
In addition to the Neapolitan fry shop, a pillar of Neapolitan street food, during the Sanremo Festival there will also be the second edition of the «Pizza Festival Sanremo Trophy». The award, created by the Calabrian promoter Franco Buccinà, together with the pizza maker Francesco Fortuna and Gennaro Galeotafiore, will gather in the city of flowers the best Italian pizza makers. There will be over 40 pizza makers in competition, engaged in different categories such as Classic Pizza, Contemporary Pizza, Art Pizza, Gourmet Pizza, Gluten Free Pizza and many others. Among the many creations in the last edition, for example, the Amadeus Pizza made in honor of the artistic director and highly appreciated by the same host of the Sanremo event should be remembered.
A return to Sanremo for the company «Sapori di Napoli» and for the chef Gennaro Galeotafiore who, after the participation of the last 4 years, has decided to relaunch the presence of Neapolitan cuisine in Liguria with the help of the association «Aperitivo Food & Drink», with which next April will realize the second edition of the Aperitif Championship.
In addition to music and the Italian song, therefore, in Sanremo there will also be room for quality Campania cuisine.
