Near Tragedy on the Avellino-Salerno Highway

A near tragedy occurred last night along the Avellino-Salerno highway near Solofra. A Toyota Yaris driven by a 33-year-old woman from Serino overturned and caught fire. Despite her injuries, the 33-year-old managed to get out of the cockpit before the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames. A patrol from the Avellino Highway Police and firefighters immediately arrived at the scene. The officers and firefighters provided assistance to the 33-year-old, who was handed over to the emergency medical services. The young woman was transported by ambulance.
